Our Vision

Beliefs

At Sanzaar, we believe in three fundamental principles:

  1. Empowering Artisans : We are dedicated to supporting artisans and their craft, ensuring that their skills are not just preserved but also celebrated on a global stage.
  2. Ethical Elegance : Our commitment to slow, ethical fashion drives us to create clothing that not only looks good but also does good. We embrace sustainability at every step of our journey.
  3. Celebrating Uniqueness : We believe in bringing out the uniqueness in everyone. Our pieces are designed to resonate with individuals who embrace their own distinctive styles.

More than a brand, Sanzaar is a movement towards fashion that transcends borders and speaks a universal language. With every garment we create, we aim to foster a sense of connection between cultures, while preserving our planet through ethical practices.

This is our journey, one that celebrates tradition, individuality, and the beauty of sustainable fashion.

Good Practices

We are women-led and owned, with over 90% of our team being women artisans and creatives.

Every piece is hand-crafted with love and care in India, providing our artisans with a space to bring their boundless talent to the world and keep their craft thriving. This also helps our artisans be self-sufficient, supporting themselves and their families doing what they love.

We focus on ethical, slow practices, ensuring the sustainability of our pieces and minimizing the use of synthetic fabrics such as polyester. This reduces waste and excess quantities while ensuring work/life balance and fair wages for our artisans.

This philosophy extends to our handmade, reusable packaging. We pledge to constantly evolve our conscious promise and adopt sustainable practices in everything we do –– using less water, less waste, and less chemicals.

Sanzaar also gives back: 10% of our profits are donated to charities in India to support their mission of empowering women artisans, mental health support, safety, women education and well-being.
